Nude Beaches Perth: Swanbourne Beach and Coogee Beach

Swarnbourne Beach

Swarnbourne beach is famous for its nude beach section. It is located north of Cottesloe at the Swan River near Perth, Western Australia. It is Perth's most popular nude beach, but as far as I know not even this one is really officially. The nude section is some hundred metres north of the textile area. Nudists are tolerated only because the beach is situated on army land and thus not subject to local council authority.
So: perverts watch out, as an Australian Army base is just behind the dunes.

Coogee Beach

Coogee is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Cockburn, about 22km south of Perth/ 7km south of Fremantle. Coogee is a popular destination for travellers who want to stay close to the city, but not to close.
Coogee Beach is equipped with camp grounds, deluxe units, chalets, family units, motel rooms, and powered caravan sites. There are also walking paths and a pretty beach jetty.

Coogee has a beautiful beach, perfect for swimming, relaxing or fishing from the large jetty. The beach is not as crowded as some of the beaches closer to Perth.

We stayed there in the 90s for a week on a nice campground. Topless bathing was quite common, and there were always some nudists on the beach. We can't undertake that nude bathing is still tolerated there. Can anyone confirm?
